Students and officers recite the pledge during the program for the Mary Hughes K-8 Blue Day Celebration on Friday. The 8th. grade leadership class put together a program to honor Police, Firemen, Veterans and others who work to protect the community. The students read messages, made signs and sang songs to approx. 50 guests from Sullivan County Sheriff's Dept., Piney Flats Fire Department, Johnson City Police and Veterans currently serving and retired.
