One of several plow trucks is loaded with salt on Tuesday in preparation for the upcoming snow event in Bristol, Virginia. The VDOT North Bristol station on Reedy Creek Road was checking plows, loading trucks and getting ready to maintain the 900 lane miles of roads in their area of coverage. Main roads like Route 58 and 19 get first treatments with sideroads after the event stops.
