The Trestle #7 on the Va. Creeper Trail was reopened on Monday, April 28, 2014.  Storms took down the structure three years ago.

Traffic lanes change on Volunteer Parkway

Shearer's Foods installed two 70' silos on Thursday to hold 200,000 lbs. each of raw corn used in several products in the Bristol, Va. plant.  Corn will now be able to be brought in by train in a larger quantity than the truck loads that have been used lately.  The silos were installed by Barnhart Crane and Rigging of Kingsport, Tn.

East takes on Elizabethton in Baseball

Boutique Hotels moving ahead in Bristol

Creative Boutique Hotels, developers of Bristol’s The Session Hotel announced that they will break ground in May, 2014 for the new property.  Hal Craddock owner and a principal of Craddock Cunningham Architectural Partners speaks to the media that were on hand for the announcement.
