The pumpkins are slowly getting bigger and more orange in this pumpkin patch along Highway 126 in Sullivan County, TN. The large amount of rains this summer caused a smaller crop because of less time for bees to work the blossoms.

This turtle was spotted crossing Nordyke Road in Washington County Virginia on Wednesday. The warm sun and warm roadway helped keep this little fella warm during the cool snap that will be the weather for the next couple days in the low 70's.

Speedway getting lights up for Christmas.

Bristol Motor Speedway employees work on installing the christmas lights to form the Christmas Tree attached to the scoring tower inside the track. 120 strands of lights over 90' long make up the center display for the Speedway in Lights. Work will continue replacing bulbs and repairing wires as the track prepares for the upcoming event.
