Bird Problem getting attention of Police now
Bristol Virginia Leisure Park Towers trees have become the home for several birds on evenings. The police dept is working to scare the birds away over the next week. Deena Bouton, Bristol Va. Animal Control officer, holds the device that will be used to scare the birds away.

Rob Chappelle came home off his truck route to be at his Mendota home with wife Lindsay and kids Gavin and Madison. They were at Home Depot getting a generator for this storm as they went for 5 days without power during the last storm

B & B Services, LLC out of Knoxville, TN. is working at the Tennessee Welcome Center along Interstate 81 planting approx. 13,000 plants and an irrigation system. The project is part of Stimulus package.

Weather taking toll on local roads
Some local roads (Euclid Ave shown) are in disrepair after the past snow and freezing weather. Wedensday's rain not does not drain correctly and more potholes could be created because of this. Freezing weather is predicted for later in weekend as well starting the process all over.
