Virginia High School graduated seniors at Bristol Motor Speedway on Friday, May 22.  Covid-19 caused the students to use social distancing while still experiencing the graduation excitement.

Hurricane Campers at Bristol Motor Speedway

Matin and Lori Tomberg and grandson Joseph from Vero Beach, Florida arrived at the Bristol Motor Speedway on Saturday as the hurrican was starting to come in.  The 5 members and serveral cats and dogs.  Their house in located on the Indian River and has been in high water before.  They plan on going back Tuesday to start home.

It's Bristol Baby now a sign

One of the first race fans to get to pose on the new It's Bristol Baby sign at Bristol Motor Speedway was the Rockwell family from Kentucky.  Lloyd Rockwell, left, is shown with his granddaughter Maddie, 9, and his son (maddie father) Chris.  The new fan display was unveiled Thursday and fans can have their photos taken standing on the levels.

Dale Jr. set to retire end of 2017

Battle at Bristol Logo going down

University of Tennessee Grounds crew started to paint the Battle at Bristol logo at center field on Saturday.  The task will take 9 colors of paint totalling approx. 45 gallons of paint and will time out after 5 hrs.
