Rain falls heavy in Bristol, Tennessee

This section of highway 611 in Washington County, Va. is available to adopt from the State of Virginia. In addition a new program will be asking people to sign up to keep the grassy areas mowed as well. The state budget has been cut and they are looking for help to keep the roads sides clear.

Chilhowie vs Holston for Southwest Va. playoff

Slugfest at Patrick Henry on Friday. Holston High vs Chilhowie High in Boys Baseball. Homeruns, bases stolen, errors made, scores in double digits and it all came down to winning run scored with a walk. It doesn't get any better than this in Southwest Virginia playoffs.

Ethan Stacy Funeral in Grundy and Richlands, Va.

Joe Stacy is helped away from the graveside service for his son Ethan Stacy in Richlands Virginia on Wednesday, May 19th. He is being helped by his fiancee Rebecca Elswick, left, and his mother Peggy Akers. Police in Utah allege the 4-year-old boy died of abuse and neglect by his mother, Stephanie Sloop, and stepfather, Nathanael Sloop.
