Company begins core samples for new school in Bristol, Va.

Sullivan County takes over Shelter

Sullivan County Animal Shelter

Drogo dozes in his doggie bed in the front office of the Sullivan County Animal Shelter on Monday.  The Country took over operations of the shelter recently and is in the process of making changes and upgrades.  Drogo recently made a visit to a middle school as part of a meet the animal shelter pet event. Boy Scouts compete in Klondike Derby

Members of Scout Troop 215  from Blountville, Tennessee pull their Saw designed sled across State Street on Saturday duirng the Klondike Derby in Bristol.  This event concludes Scout Week in Bristol with Troops testing their skills against others from the area.   This is the 49th. annual event.
