Life Skills class taught in Sullivan County Jail

Sullivan County jail Chaplin Kent Pugh talks with Codi McNamara, left, and Dustin Crumley on Tuesday after they graduated this week from a program that helps them successfully transition from cell to society.
This is the first time the Sullivan County corrections facility has offered the 12 week program. The class takes volunteer inmates who are willing to learn about topics such as parenting, personal health, cognitive behavior, and personal finance.

Stained Glass Window Repair

A worker with Raynal Studios gently scraps away excess material above St. John, left, on Tuesday.  Work is being done on the Evangelist Stain Glass window at Emmanuel Episcopal Church in Bristol, Virginia.  Raynal Studios of Natural Bridge, Virginia is cleaning, repairing lead, repainting framing and installing protective glass over the entire opening.  The window with Matthew, Mark, Luke and John was installed in the early 1900's.
