Sharky 500 @ Bristol Motor Speedway

Sharks make there way during the Sharky 500 on Saturday at Bristol Motor Speedway.  The money raised for the Sharky race goes to Speedway Children's Charities.  Over 9 million dollars has been raised in the past 18 years for local charities who serve the children of the TriCities.

Bristol Virginia Utilities Rosenbalm gets 33 months

Wes Rosenbalm Sentenced to 33 months

Wes Rosenbalm, 45, shown walking into Federal Court in Abingdon, Virginia on Thursday, received that sentence this morning from District Judge James P. Jones in U.S. District Court. Back in July Rosenbalm pleaded guilty to one count of conspiracy to defraud the Internal Revenue Service and conspiracy to commit federal program fraud.

Kathryne Hamic and her daughter, Jillian Blevins,3, spent the afternoon playing and swinging at Anderson Street Park on Wednesday.  Hamic called it Mommy/Daughter Day.  Time was spent on the swings, fire truck and just running around.  Hamic was hoping this would be a good way to get ready for naptime later.The family is from Bristol, Tennessee.
