Volunteers place flags at Mountain Home National Cemetery

Flag Placement Day at Mountain Home National Cemetery

A Veteran pauses to look out over the grave markers at Mountain Home National Cemetery after the flag placement ceremony on Saturday.  Several hundred Boy Scouts, Cub Scouts, Girl Scouts and Volunteers placed American Flags for each of the over 15,000 veterans buried.

The strawberries are coming in every morning from Scott's Farms in Unicoi, Tennessee.  The berries are sold between Knoxville and Bristol daily after they are picked in the early morning.
