Dog Park Grant for Bristol Tennessee

The City of Bristol Tennessee celebrated a milestone today in developing a new dog park for the east end of the City.  Randy and Jenny Boyd of the Boyd Foundation presented a $25,000 check to the City on Wednesday, August 22, 2018.

Manny Scott talks to teachers about how they can influence their students future

Motivational speaker Manny Scott looks out into the crowd of teachers during his speech on Monday.  Five school districts in Southwest Virginia came together for the first time to host a convocation for their teachers and support staff, with some 1,000 people from schools in Dickenson, Scott and Wise counties and the cities of Bristol and Norton to hear Manny Scott a well-known motivational speaker for educators at the Pryor Convocation Center at UVa’s College at Wise.
