There are several things this weekend that have caused me to pause and be thankful for my family and the country we live in. My daughter, Kayla, attended her Senior Prom at Elizabethton High School. Although she has been to several dances and events that she gets to dress up for, this was her last High School Dance. In addition, she turned 18 yrs. old the day after. Her mother and I are proud of her and all that she has become. Now we all get to move on to college and a career. Not sure were we are going but as long as we have each other, it should be okay. We love you kid.
