Local musician Allun Cormier of the band Folk Soul Revival was playing the Piedmont Stage to a large crowd Friday evening at Rhythm and Roots. The band has local roots and played a mix of upbeat, rootsy acoustic music. Cormier died on Wednesday in a house fire in Bristol, Va. His music will live on. I never knew you but the crowd on that night in Bristol showed the energy you gave in each and every performance. You will be missed.
