Eric Koster, Blunzter Vol. Fire Dept in Texas, climbs the extended ladder as part of the physical fitness part of the application process for the Bristol, Va. Fire Dept. on Monday. Each applicant had to complete a 7 station course that was timed and take a written test during the afternoon session. Eleven people applied for the 5 positions now open with the Dept.
