These leaves have begun to change color as the sun sets on the last day of Summer on Tuesday. The Autumnal Equinox begins 4:21 am on Wednesday. The word equinox means "equal night"; night and day are about the same length of time. This occurs two times each year: Vernal in late March and Autumnal in late September.
