Several fire departments worked on a house fire in Abingdon, Virginia on Lauralee Court. The home owners were not home at the time of the fire and neighbors stated they hear a loud pop after lightnling was seen in the area.
James Cook reaches into the flooded water around the house of his mother, Kay Cook, just off King Mill Pike in Bristol, Virginia on Wednesday. The house always gets flooded during heavy rains according to Cook, as the drains under the road are not the same height so the water backs up and floods. The water as of 4 pm. was 2-3 feet high.
