House Moving ASP

1st. Place News Photograph - Tennessee Press Association Awards 2018

2nd. Place – May 2017 – Feature/Single-National Press Photographers Association.

Workers with Layman Construction Company and House Moving, move traffic Signals on 6th. Street away from the crest of the house they were moving down Anderson Street in Bristol, Tennessee on Wednesday.  The house was one of three built by Appalachian Service Project during race week by Virginia Tech, University of Tennessee and Iowa State University.  The first house moved was built by University of Tennessee.  The trip from the speedway to Pennsylvania Ave. took approx. 1 1/2 hours to make and the finishing of the foundation and inside of house will be done over the next few weeks.

Believe in Bristol Santa

3rd. Place Feature Photography - Tennessee Press Association Awards 2018

2nd. Place General News Photo 2017 Virginia Press Association Awards.

Nancy Reynolds just moved to Bristol, Tennessee and she stopped by the Believe in Bristol Santa sleigh on Saturday and asked Santa for some help in her life decisions.   Santa was on hand at the Farmer's Market for free photos with Santa.

Little John Deere Guy

5th. Place Feature Photography - Tennessee Press Association Awards 2018

Gavin Brewer, 3, was helping out his mom, Rachel Brewer, pick up sticks and twigs from their yard along Bellehaven Drive in Bristol, Virginia on Thursday.  Gavin was riding his battery John Deere tractor while Rachel was riding behind with the John Deere Lawn mower.  In addition, Gavin has a John Deere trailer for his tractor and a full size John Deere Playset with slide and swing. The two were enjoying the warm weather.
