Five school districts in Southwest Virginia came together for the first time to host a convocation for their teachers and support staff, with some 1,000 people from schools in Dickenson, Scott and Wise counties and the cities of Bristol and Norton to hear Manny Scott a well-known motivational speaker for educators at the Pryor Convocation Center at UVa’s College at Wise.
